I've seen quite a lot of non British people on Countdown, I can remember one guy from Australia circa Series 48 and some from Pakistan / India who certainly had a foreign accent but might have been born in this country. Chose Mr Edwards because to avoid more tattiness and disruption, it was agreed with C4 that we would show 1 week of games that were originally shown in a calendar week themselves. That way there is SOME form of continuity. Couldn't show anything from previous eras either, so looking through the last...

There have been about 3 or 4 in 13 years i've had the marvellous pleasure of being involved with the show. Genevive Chan was one name i can recall, blonde woman, about 40, came from France. About 10 years ago? I also remember a woman from Canada, maybe 7 or 8 years ago, a bloke from France circa 199...

What a bizarre quiz, Ann - if the question is 'what words did the contestants get from these letters'. Its very random. Its definitely in part 3 of a show, judging by the height of the letters piles.
