I had great fun! Unencumbered by silly things like playing Countdown, I was able to get round most of the tables and speak to most of the people attending. Apologies if you're reading this and I didn't speak to you! I think I placed 41st out of 40.

Both players have been solid on the letters and it's really tough to call. In the last final, much of the excitement was post-hoc as Callum really caused an upset in beating Dylan. That was a great final and I have high hopes for this series finale too!

Terrible pronunciation of OUTJIE from Susie. I can understand this is a difficult one to pronounce, but there's no excuse when you have the dictionary there with the pronunciation guide.

What hotel(s) do people plan on using for this? I'd like to be quite close to the venue but really I'm looking for one as cheap as possible! :) I was looking into hotels / guest houses as well, and prices seem a bit steep in that area. I'll probably walk the 11 or so miles from where I live instead.

Great to see Sean's reaction at the end there - he was overwhelmed with relief and could barely speak! Makes a change from the cool customers I've seen recently who don't flinch even when they win on a crucial (nothing wrong with that, just nice to see how much it meant to Sean).
