Slightly more elegant R5 solution than Carol's- (100-2)*8-25.

Re: Nothing to do with binary, folks!
Piece of piss to work out, surely- 225= 15^2= 3^2 * 5^2, therefore the number has to be divisible by 9 and by 25. The first criterion means its digits must sum to a multiple of 9, and as we're using only 1s and 0s, it must therefore contain 9 1s. It must also be divisble by 25, meaning it must be a ...

Aye, the polls were pretty good if I recall correctly. Anyways I was thinking more just a general discussion/slanging match at first.

Re: Feedback on Colin 2008
Many thanks to you all for the kind words. :-) COLIN 2009 will absolutely be going ahead- and as it's the fifth COLIN, I might do something a little special for it. Not sure what though- it'd be hard to top Stewart Holden's generous gift of a free calendar for every participant! :) I might also come...

Re: Suggestions thread?
To be fair I've seen a lot of start-up forums with something like 30 sub-forums that all die very quickly. IMO 5 is an ideal number- while I'd personally have had just one subforum for recaps, I see no issue with the way it's set up now. CO-Events don't really need more than 1 thread each- and photo...

Countdown in Lincoln 2008
Getting in here early- the fourth annual COLIN is just days away and I do have spaces left for anyone who wants them. Pit your wits against some of the best to have ever appeared on the screen, including no less than five series champions, compete for fun spot prizes, and watch exhibition play- with...

#1 looks about 90% certain to be Futurama. My other two are Lincoln Cathedral and Van Halen (I'm nothing if not eclectic in my tastes). My back-up subject is Red Dwarf.

Gotta say I can't find room for mushrooms in my breakfast. I don't mind tomatoes that much though.
Big question is- fried, poached or scrambled?
