So my idea is that at the end of an octochamp run instead of getting two new players, the player who either came closest to beating the octochamp or got the highest percentage of maxes should play against the new player. (Points score alone wouldn't be fair IMO as it could be a bad days shuffling)....

A scores 1.0 on the Raccoon scale. What do I win? That's poor. There are loads of 2-letter words that get a score of 1.0 which is clearly more impressive. :) The list starts Aa, Ab, Ad, etc... depending on which dictionary you use. I thought it was an okay gameshow and will probably continue to watch it. I did turn over half-way through so I missed the female contestant and only saw the gentleman's game from machine 3 of 10. I also assume that the contestants have to pick a target over £55,000 as thats the total of the 10 lowe...
