I think Des O' is awesome, but mostly because he says things that, when you think about it, are rather offensive, and yet you don't notice unless you're paying attention because of how he says them (indeed, I don't believe he is actually trying to be offensive most of the time).

+1 to the list of people who hate the 'lists', but it's mostly annoying when the person clearly hasn't really thought about what they were going to say (since it's rare for that to be at all interesting, and you wonder how much they've been paid for it) - Jo Brand has been the worst for this sort of...

oh, a countdown bot is certainly doable - a friend of mine found one that would play Les Numbres et les Chiffres (including number rounds), but had various drawbacks such as the timing being a bit off (it was set to 30 seconds per round, during which you had to have typed your answer - I was thinkin...

I believe 6 small is her second favourite - I remember a show where the contestant asked her for her second favourite selection, and I was surprised by her choice

(of course, this is when someone with a better memory than me comes along and corrects me...)

Carol should also be horsewhipped for being pleased when the numbers game is piss-easy. She groans if the target is 101 and there is a 100 and a 1, but other than that she seems to prefer the easy games. I dunno, I imagine if it was my job I'd be constantly terrified of getting a game that I couldn...

is it just me, or does the current champ have a habit of staring across at his opponent towards the end of the time? I wasn't paying attention in all the rounds, but he definitely did it at some point, presumably he's looking at the clock, but I think I'd find that a bit unnerving! legendary numbers...

I'm particularly fond of halloumi (although possibly because it usually just tastes of salt), and occasionally paneer (although possibly because it usually comes with curry)

a nice strong cheddar is a good default, though
