Re: Conundrums with multiple solutions

Agree with all the rest of this, with the same nervousness about point 5 - obviously there shouldn't be any conundrum with a valid plural anagram, but if it does happen there should be a consistent ruling and Graeme's seems fair enough to me. Similarly, I assume if the host had set a conundrum of SH...

Yeah, I mean, countdown/apterous/webrack all use very similar methods and, while there's a few very small differences between each one, I don't think there's any real difference to the 'feel' of the rounds. Compare that to the rounds at Lincoln-style (Edinburgh-style) co-events, especially some of t...

What are the highest and lowest total "max" scores from an 8-game consecutive run during heats (in the 15-round era). Not necessarily looking at just the record from octochamps runs, but any consecutive set of 8 games. There was a bit of a discussion around this in the "1000 club&quo...

I think we deliberately avoided Wednesday, Friday and Sunday because of Andy SC's ATP tour tourneys. What's wrong with Tuesday? Going into a series finals, what is the biggest ever points gap between #1 and #2 seed? Had a manual look and was surprised by the results.
