Re: Best ever televised game?

Carl WIlliams vs Graeme Cole was the best televised game I've seen live; "GALVANISE!" is a squeak that has stayed with me vividly, and vanquished semi-finalist Mark Deeks peering round from the edge of the set is an image that has stayed with me as well, cracking denouement. Going off Charlie's pos...

Re: REALLY obvious things you've just realised

When an unsubscribe link on an email doesn't work (redirects to a non-existent page, or as I had recently, a page that refreshes every half a second so doesn't allow you to submit your email address), it's probably been done on purpose rather than being a site bug. Similarly this may be why the "hid...

Re: University Challenge and Only Connect 2016/17

Weird question in University Challenge stated "To the nearest factor of 10", where the eventual answer was 80. That's a multiple of 10 and not a factor unless they've changed maths again? It's the question-setter's fault, undoubtedly, but have you noticed that Paxman almost seems to take a pride in...

Surprised no posts about Haemangioma being on the show last week, just catching up! The intro mentioned our Rach as an alumna of Oriel College, Oxford as well. Not quite a quattrocento but 150 is a decent score and nice to see Eoin smiling and enjoying the experience as well :).

Catapulted into second place thanks to picking Harry Kane as my triple captain this week :) Could have saved it for one of those "double gameweeks" that crop up towards the end of the season, but it worked out pretty well!
