Is it just me, then? It's not kryptonite. It doesn't look anything like what kryptonite would look like if it existed. Giving someone a trophy made of kryptonite would in any case be totally inappropriate and highly dangerous. It wasn't funny the first time Nick said it, yet it comes up every time....

If you want to draw conclusions about how great a advance has been made, the change to the online dictionary looks too big a factor to ignore. I was thinking that if the average max in the current series is 5% higher than it was when Dylan appeared, you could say that 5% of the difference in scores...

I'm not sure how many people can actually do this but I've seen people running down stairs while missing out steps and not tripping and killing themselves in the process. How is this even possible? I think it's a combination of balance, coordination and inertia I am better at running up the stairs ...

Another interesting thing is that when Julian Fell set his octo score of 924, it was seen as in a different league from anything before. People who set their clocks fast. I've never understood anyone who has done this because they all know that it's 5, 10, or whatever minutes fast, which surely defeats the point. If I set my clock 20 minutes fast and it said 7:00, I wouldn't be thinking "it's 7 o'clock", I'd be thinking "it's 6:40" ...
