I love the way Nick says things like "stand back" when he starts the clock. I hope he gives them a bit more 'warning' before starting the conundrum soon, though, but I'm sure that will happen or the contestants will simply get used to it in time.

Surely driving a car is another good example. The clutch always seems to me to be a strangely devised piece of equipment.
