There's also a perception issue. Viewers are essentially competing against the contestants, in a way they are not expecting to against Rachel. She's expected to get it and that is implicit in watching the show.

It depends on the level of familiarity. The missus makes her own, as would family if they came over. If its your first couple of times here, I'd do it. But if you're a regular, do your own tea.

Me and my girlfriend play a lot of gin rummy. We recently found out that our last three sessions or so of cards had taken place without the 10 of clubs, which was stuck to the bottom of an old bath towel. I imagine something like that is what went on here.

If the team challenge is chosen, then the team may be discuss their tactics in advance, but after that may not speak, with one player coming forward each round. The others must turn their backs and so will not know what has happened each turn.

I don't know if this is just me misremembering things, but I have this recollection of Carl Williams actually being on apterous shortly after those finals were broadcast.
