First loading screwed the screen completely with the red icons repeating across the page and the menu options in the wrong place. If I remember correctly the visually impaired chap had to be given the conundrum on a card which he turned over when the clock started, and thus an explanation was required. Ciaran performed so brilliantly that I don't think any sort of mention of his own impairment was necessary.

I'm not sure about the police station idea. If it was a wallet (with stuff in), that would be a certainty, but I'm not sure if someone whose glasses fall out of their pocket is likely to check the police station to see if they've handed it in, or that the police will do (or be able to do) anything ...

You know those word wheel puzzles you see in newspapers and the like where you have to find as many words as possible that contain the centre letter? They don't allow plurals at all.
