The main problem with 15-rounders is the length obviously, but it gives a good balance of rounds. The 9-rounder has the advantage of being shorter, but it's problem is not so much that the short game makes it more of a lottery, but that specifically the conundrum has proportionally too much weight....

I understand it to maintain the distance which is the same as the distance between two chevrons. This seems beyond many drivers in any case. Also has this been said - as host, don't write the letters down on the scoresheet until the time starts. You don't need to interrupt the letters selection process to do something you will shortly have 30 seconds to do. I might be considered crazy for saying this, but lets just abolish the selection...

I think the best solution is to change "gender" to "sex" on the sign-up and leave people to it. They don't demand proof of age. It's very sad indeed, and I feel very sorry for any trans people who are caught up in this. Parkrun isn't a race or a competition, and I've always love...
