Occam's razor my dude. Everyone involved in the product says she doesn't get fed answers, and you're finding conspiratorial thinking as to why she might sometimes miss them, rather than the obvious answer that she misses them sometimes because she doesn't get fed answers. It really is no deeper tha...

Tom Stevenson (Series 86 Champion) will be on Pointless on 21st August 2024 @ 5:15 pm on BBC One/iPlayer. He’ll have up to 3 chances (used to be 2 but now it’s 3) to make the final, so could potentially be on 22nd and 23rd as well if eliminated. This is today! Certainly not my finest display of qui...

I get so genuinely angry when someone doesn't indicate. It is the most effortless thing in the world to do. The rage I feel over this is not normal but if you're out there and don't indicate - please explain to me why (even if its an empty road, nobody around you yadayada). Out yourselves peasants....

Cats does Countdown Ep- 9 Aug 2024

Caught up with last night's Catsdown, and think that probably has to be the strongest performance across two teams I've seen on the show. Granted, Laura did a lot of the heavy lifting in her team, but that numbers solve that she got was genuinely impressive, even if it was outside of the 30 secs. Jo...

What's the bus stop method? Is that a rival to the standard method? It's a method that is taught in schools to work out division sums. Say in this case, the sum is working out how many 8s go into 896, then the 8 would be placed at the side of the "bus stop", with the 896 underneath it. Yo...

Belated congrats to Arthur on a very well-deserved win. I'd even say that he played at a higher level on TV than his already high level on Apterous- which is a talent few possess. Fair play to Michael, though- I think most of us would have had him down as a quarter-finalist at best given his draw, b...

It is an interesting series- but by no means weak imo given the amount of octochamps. Arthur is my bet for the win, but could also be rumbled any of the top 5. Given this, I'd say that it's the most open series for a good while given the amount of potential contenders.

Not forgetting the highest scoring Irish octochamp of all time, Ed Byrne. Furthermore, one of my prelim opponents, David Clerkin, was an Irishman who'd faced Ed McCullagh on his original stint. Was one of the best prelim opponents I'd faced, and would be very worthy of a third stint.
