To offer assistance- Ciaran Thompson I'm pretty sure was a Brummie and I believe Chris Kilbride was British too. For 78- only Donal Casey and Gerry Walsh were 100% Irish, unless you discount Gerry for living in the UK. 90% sure Glen Burke was Irish. All the others were British- not sure about Sylvia...

Gyles Brandreth shook my hand when I was about 9 or 10 years old when he switched the Christmas lights on in my town. He was actually quite nice and pleasant, though.

Ouch- felt for Tara- not the best player but she definitely should not be joining Wendy Cooke in the 6 club when players like Lewis Fortnite exist. Plus in addition, I think she said she was from Iran, so big kudos to her for going on, considering English may have not been her 1st language.

Possibly Stephen Mellor from 81 deserves a mention, despite the letters inconsistency. Arran Cleminson and Harry Clark from S80- both finalist potential. Twas a very unfortunate ending for Ewen- he looked as if he saw Amortised straight after his dec and looked to just behind Paul on the conundrum. Nonetheless, Paul has had a good run so far with strong scores- on for a nice octototal should he make it, which I hope he will.

Morgan was a solid player- well done to him. C2 was not too bad either. He has had to work his way during his run. It's all looking a bit precarious for Corrina at the moment- I would not rank her in #8 in terms of ability of the octos so far- maybe #6.

Yes, I could get why people saw Rachel as being a bit OTT in tone in R3, but no malice was intended. On a separate note, that was a pretty stong showing from Morgan. Looks like he could become an octochamp-his conundrum skills are particularly strong.
