I certainly thought that Stewart came out as one of the best candidates tonight....e.g. he won the debate imo- but then again, that's more my centrist bias coming over me there.

Am not a Tory supporter but always take an interest in Politics. With an upcoming C4 debate tonight sans Boris, who is the best of a bad bunch? (if you are Non Tory), or who would you be voting for? (if you are Tory). Do voice your decision as to why you have voted for the particular candidate.......

Re: Spoilers for Monday 1st April 2019 (series 80, prelim 49)

Well done to Steven- some on the edge of your seat games- especially the 2nd one when he was 25-ish behind - was wondering if there has been an octochamp who has become one from an even larger margin? I felt for Les, thought that he fell victim to declaring an invalid word and then being thrown off...

Couldn't quite manage to break 600 though. Which will go first - 600 or 1000?
1000. Dinos's run was very generous, yet it would take quite a player to do so. Dinos is confirmed for the finals now though, not that we had any doubts :)

Be unlucky to not make it on 7 wins anyway for the finals... the games have made for good TV- maybe not for Steven's stress levels :)

I reckon Carmel was just very nervous. Nothing to be gained from buzzing in too soon.
Agreed, I think it showed in those numbers rounds too.
