Re: C4C/apto/Countdown Dreams

Had one last night where I was at a hotel-like fun place which seemed to contain just about every single thing you could possibly hope for. Part of it was a bank run entirely by apterites, which I went to to withdraw £20 of 50 pence coins to sort through. Fairly certain the person who served me was ...

Simon seemed nice, but he was not on game at all today. Becky is not bad, and consistent on the numbers, but don't feel she will last long..... Have to agree with this. Definitely beatable. Alistair seems to be a fairly decent player if he indeed is getting all the words he claimed, MILIEUS beat me...

Re: Is Apterous down?

For all you suffering withdrawal symptoms, here are some conundrums to try:

1) PLANTROSE
2) ITWASBOAN
3) MOVETRAIN
4) SIDECLAMP
5) CHEAPDIME

Can anyone get all 5?

Re: Deathwatch 2018

The points difference is the same but likelihood of death is different. People are less likely to pick younger people because, even though you would get more points the likelihood of it happening is less. Plus the fact that you can also get a first pick bonus means you're better off focusing on the...

I genuinely think she'll still be around if you're doing this in 2028. Ain't a chance she's going soon the amount of care she gets - she can still ride a horse for god's sake.
A lot of my list is based more on hope than expectation.
No, everyone loves the queen!!!

Re: Deathwatch 2018

If we're gonna suggest rule changes I think 120 is too high. It ruins the risk reward element of going for young people. You may as well just pick a list of people over 90. I know people are living longer than ever but who realistically lives to 120? To get over 20 points for people in their 90s is...

Re: People you shouldn't trust

People who wear the so called "fashionable" ripped jeans. It looks tacky. What's even more stupid is that they pay full price for these jeans, sometimes even more than an unripped pair. Why don't they just buy a pair of well-worn second-hand jeans from a charity shop or something? It would be much ...
