Cool, what was his time and did you spot him on the telly ? I got 3:43:06. I was aiming for under 3 hours, but that went off the rails quite early. If number of points were used, I think the finals stages would be too predictable. "Twists" like that generated by the current system are what make Countdown finals stages all the more exciting, IMO.
