I'd say January 2015 is the earliest reasonable time, but January 2016 might be slightly more realistic (whatever series number they happen to be).

I don't think it would be that confusing to have players like Eoin, Oliver etc. It's happened before (e.g. Jon Corby), and I'm not sure that the issue even needs to be addressed. Just have them on. I think another CoC event would be pretty cool, not just for selfish reasons. It would be great to see a rematch, but would you qualify for entry to a CoC tournament? No offence meant, as obviously if it was based on ability alone then you would not only deserve a place, but would be one of the favourites. Series 46 (Ben's series) was the first with 15-round games rather than 9 rounds, so they probably thought that 6 games was enough for someone. 6 games with 15 rounds each is 90 rounds in total, whereas 8 games with 9 rounds each is 72, so even with just 6 games, viscounts were playing more rounds th...

I've been having a think about the high scores 'record' thing, as it's a moderately interesting problem. Obviously the basic conclusion is "Jack has the old-15 record, Dylan has the new-15 one", because a straight comparison is always going to involve some subjectivity. However, I thought...

I think its easier watching on television. You have longer to find the words as the letters go up really slowly and then Nick has to decide to start the time. I think I do better watching on television as well and that's probably partly it.
