It's happened a couple of times before I think. I believe celebrate was the intended answer, but erectable also valid.

Re: Spoilers for Monday 22nd April 2019 (Series 80, Prelim 64)

In my opinion, ERECTABLE is a rather more obscure word than CELEBRATE -- I wonder if the answer board originally had CELEBRATE as the intended answer, with the alternate solution edited in. I thought the same. They probably stopped the recording to check if ERECTABLE was in and then started again a...

I used to think that "shyster" was actually "scheißter"/"scheisster" and some sort of German swear word. Though looking at the origin, it seems that I might be basically right.

Minor 2nd numbers variant: could use (8+3)*(9-7) to make the 22.
When she did 8×3 I thought she was going to add that to (7+8-9)×100.

Anyway well played today Fiona. A bit of a seesaw game and you did well to win after going 16-0 down. Two good players, as Nick would say.

That magic trick was a bit obvious I thought. Other than the first choice between the boxes, Nick wasn't actually accepting or rejecting eggs. He was just selecting and Paul Zenon decided whether he was accepting or rejecting each selection. Presumably there was one penny egg in each box.

first game that Dinos didn't get a 9.
And still he got his 3rd highest score! just shows his consistency :)
Not saying Dinos is really inconsistent, but surely this shows more inconsistency more than consistency?

Gavin Chipper:
What is the official countdown dictionary?
I thought it is the Oxford English Dictionary.
There's different versions though. They use the online one but the subscription version so the free one is only an approximation.
