That would help, but I seriously doubt the investment needed would be there! I'm using voice recognition software to type this message, but it isn't reliable enough to use in a timed situation. If the timeout could be increased to say 4 seconds per character on a per-game basis, by mutual agreement ...

I have a GCSE in Arithmetic from age 14. Highest achievable grade was 'C', and I think the subject was abolished the following year. I did it for 'exam experience' before starting my GCSEs proper (including Maths of course). Has anyone else taken GCSE Arithmetic, or even ever known it once existed?

Thinking back to my schooldays, surely Rachel is grammatically incorrect in referring to a multiplication as "times by". In this context "times" means "multiplied by" so she is saying "multiplied by by" which is tautology. Carol never made this mistake - perh...
