In fact, the vowel pick in the SOLUTION round was for an E in the hope of flattening it out a bit. I have no goat talent, but was surprised at the 5th vowel on the end of that pick... All of your shows have been events in our house, with some animated commentary throughout (often from all 4 of us)....

A few games have been missed and were highlighted later on, like Rahul Suresh's max bullet hyper nasty numbers attack. Mathematically, i...

Re: Game of the Year (GotY) 2017 - nominations

It'd be easy.
Just do it after the 2017 winner is chosen...
Allow people vote on what they consider the greatest of the 10 annual winners so far.

Re: Countdown Bristol 2018

I'd suggest editing the original post to include the new start time... just for those who'll check the OP as a reference point without regard for the comments beneath...

Re: Ongoing series 77 general discussion thread (will contain spoilers!!!)

Noel, I think we should just be done with it and tell them which of us wins...
...I mean the thread title does say 'will contain spoilers' after all! ;)

:::SPOILER ALERT:::

Semi-Final 1 will contain at least one Irish man. :o

Re: So, who will be the founding member of Countdown's "1000 CLUB"?

This has been on my mind today, so I had a look at some of the recent maxes that the S77 crew have faced... No point doing a full run down till the series is over, but if you just look at the Octochamps so far, here's what was available for each of them:- Series 77 (Octochamps to date) Tom CC..... [...

Re: Vegetarianism/Veganism (in the right section!).

By virtue of being a fussy eater, I am *almost* vegetarian...
Won't eat beef, steak, lamb, pork, bacon, venison, eggs, or any seafood.
It's not an issue of principle, but I am often grateful when a vegetarian option is available.

Re: Ongoing series 77 general discussion thread (will contain spoilers!!!)

Summary for Eoin Jackson......... I've been looking forward to this for months now. It reads a little better than I had anticipated. I love that SATANISE gets a medal. We already had HEARSE for 6, OMINOUS for 7, and MORTALISE for 9, so S77 needed a good 8 to complete that set. I have your back, JC!...

Thanks Jojo!

Yep, I had fun, even though the initial nerves were almost strong enough to affect the experience. By show 6 it was just enjoyable.
Elliott... I love your grinch impersonation. Top trolling!
P.S. What adjective have you got for me?! ;)
