Another prediction about this Champion of Champions...
...the long standing game high score record of 146 will finally be beaten.
Yep!
It only took 17 years.
My new prediction is that 150pts will remain unbeaten for fewer than 3 years.

That'll do pig, that'll do. Pure class. That TIRAMISUS twist keeping the game alive as a contest helped boost the excitement levels coming in to the home straight. The only bit that's still confusing is this: The -75 thing Actually, never mind. It’s in the OP.
The OP reads like ESL.
There's something about a -75, but it's not explained.
Also, with the margins scoring, it says there is an extra 1pt added per number closer than 10pts out, but in the given example, it seems some sort of exponential method is used...

The highest max of S78 so far has been 175. There is quite a real possibility that, with a bit of luck, two massi...

Phil, it was great to play u...
Urself and the missus went a long way towards making that a really enjoyable day!
#greenroombantsftw

If ur up for it in a couple of year's time, fair chance the producers would give u another shot (e.g. Zarte Siempre 2013 / 2018) to try for the 8.

Anyone notice that Rachel wrote 5+7x10 instead of 5x7x10? That one slipped through the editing!
I missed that one... both times!

And cheers Jojo! My level of play in game #1 surpassed my usual Apterous level, so I was delighted with that.

I guess someone is going to have to do the stats for Ben L's run now.
Hopefully!
Martin's post match analysis of contestant runs is a highlight of c4c.

Re: Birthday Championship Spoilers For Tuesday February 5th 2013

haha obviously an excellent thread Yeah! Proper aptodrama! The murky countdown fan underworld would make for a gripping soap opera. I wonder which production company are most likely to take it on? (One proviso... Mark Deeks and Richard Brittain both have to play themselves. No-one else could do tho...

Re: Birthday Championship Spoilers For Tuesday February 5th

Thanks to Jennifer for linking to this thread earlier on in Aptochat. People actually criticized Jack for the goatdown moment? I thought that was great! Of course you have to be sensitive to other people's feelings... that's obvious. But not to the extent that you can't show any joy, or stay lighthe...

Re: Spoilers for Tuesday 19th September 2017 (Series 77, Prelim 55)

Jesus Christ on a bike! :O I just finished watching today's episode... What an epic battle. Edge of seat stuff... I played along at home as ever, and was trailing both contestants... (biggest gaps being by 16pts to Ben in Rd12, and by 14pts to Phil in Rd14) Eventually ended up beating Ben by 1pt on ...

Re: Oxford Anagram Finder

Just guessing... that it's pretty good? The English language hasn't changed too drastically since then, and Oxford are C4C's favourites. However, the regular updates... words added, word removed... will not be accounted for. There was a particularly far reaching update in 2015 that the Apto-communit...
