Am watching Battlestar Galactica on BBC2. It's quite good, very untypical sci-fi (being more about politics, philosophy and personal relationships than technical stuff), and holds up well for an effects-heavy show from 15 years ago.

If every human above a certain age were to die instantaneously, what is the minimum age that could be for the human race to still survive into the future in some form?
