Re: Corrections to numbers methods on the wiki

Hi everyone. It's been nice to trawl through the archives (it's been a while) and I'm pleased to say that I can provide insight of varying levels into these discrepancies. Series 4, Episode 163: The wiki matches my notes exactly. Although it's obviously possible that I wrote down an 8 instead of a 3...

Re: Thursday 25 November 1982 (Series 1, Prelim 15)

Gevin is correct. If you look at the Wiki Robbo flipped them about 10 years ago to match TCDP. But like I said, the fact we now know several of them were wrong implies that many of them are wrong. Especially if they're audio recordings, it could be the case most episodes from Series 1-20 have them ...

He’s in the process of ripping his episodes to his computer, but this appears to be taking a while. He sent me the video of Ep15 today. What worries me is the fact the contestants were the “wrong” way round compared to TCDP and (before today) the wiki. Episode 312’s credits are on YouTube which was...

Countdown in Cambridge (CoCam) 2019 - Saturday 8th June

I'm pleased to finally 'officially' announce that Countdown in Cambridge is back for a second year on Saturday 8th June. Like last year and the events in King’s Lynn beforehand, this will be a Lincoln/Edinburgh-style tournament — everyone plays six 9-round games in groups of three, through three sta...

Meant to add as well that for anyone flying into the UK, Stansted is pretty convenient for Cambridge with regular trains (and coaches, I think). Forget about the airport at Cambridge, it doesn't do commercial flights, unless you're a rock star, possibly.
