Jono is doing a book a week as his new year's resolution for 2018. He'll pop along soon with some of the highlights I'm sure.
I copied some of them from what people recommended him on Facebook and will report back.

Perfectly willing to tongue kiss a man in exchange for two girls keeping their part of the bargain, that one time.
I still pull out the "making your arm shorter" trick sometimes, it's surprising how many people don't know it. Obviously it's a bit shit but still fun.

The Blue Moon on Norfolk Street would be a great option for post-event drinks: https://goo.gl/maps/8f5afnijx4K2 It looks scary from the outside but once you get in its friendly, does decent food and pizza (not tested but Google says so), serves great beer, and has a pool table, quiz machine, table f...

Re: What TV programmes have you been watching lately?
Aww, that's slightly disappointing to hear Gevin as I was incredibly excited to see that an on-screen version of one of Mieville's books had finally been produced, but at the same time knowing the incredible worlds he weaves and seeing the fact that it looked like a non-high-budget BBC production di...

Cake have done some very decent covers. Everyone knows I Will Survive (I recall Gloria Gaynor described it as her least favourite cover as they done a swear in it) but there are two others on Fashion Nugget that I prefer - Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps is brilliant (and in a way hard to compare to the 7...

I think you're right about both parts really - it's still a reflex action in response to the feel of the first footstep (that's another point we haven't discussed, I don't think the arms are ever likely to come out for balance until after step 1, right?). But yes it is also pain anticipation - but t...

Re: Questions you've always wanted answered
Well, the trouble with trying to stop it is that you're naturally going to go to the other extreme I reckon - the one Marc mentioned, arms by your side and not moving at all, right? That's even less natural, our arms don't do that when we're doing a normal walk with normal shoes on normal ground wit...

Re: Questions you've always wanted answered
It's definitely a thing Mark. Ignore Gevin, who only ever leaves the comfort of his bed with running shoes on. It's almost more related to the way you are trying to "creep" with your legs, and that typical learnt-it-from-the-TV exaggerated creep necessarily involves exaggerated arms too. https://vig...

I don't think Cash's Hurt is bad, not at all, but I would definitely say I dislike it overall because I always got irked, as a big NIN fan, that nobody recognised it as a cover. I think the thing about that sort of quick-fire one-liner comedy is that you tend to find yourself lightly tittering throughout. It's kind of vanilla in that, as you say, you'd expect there to be something for everyone, it's pretty easy comedy (to get, not necessarily to write, and Vine is excellent...

If you're allowed to count your lightest weight as your weight, then I can actually claim 9 stone. Oh and in the fat stakes I'm currently 97kg which is like 15st 5lb or something. I haven't been on C4C for a while. When I scrolled through this thread, I thought three things:
- USB ports on the scales
- "cold squeezing" is a great phrase
- is that why you didn't come to Colin this year?
Two points to Gevin and one to Mark.
