Re: Spoilers For 8/10 Cats Does Countdown (S1, E1 - 26 July

I thought this was very good, although some of the jokes seemed a bit familiar (like watching Shooting Stars week after week). My wife loved the cats on the desk. I don't know who the bloke in DC was but I hope he doesn't feature in the whole series! I'd love to see John Richardson play a real game ...

Just watched this show Zarte. You are doing very well so far. I was very surprised to read about the conundrum being the other guy's name as I did not notice that at all, but then I think I subconsciously block out the scramble in case I fixate on it and lose the solution. In that sense, contrary to...

Another impressive game Andy. I actually thought when you were on about 59 points that you might not get 100, but then you got another 9 and some more solid scoring got you WELL past 100! I was amused at a couple of the letter selections: In Round 1 you had RNHTOEA and you asked for another vowel bu...

Wow. Another impressive game. Can't help wondering though if you were looking for a (too) clever way of getting 845 Andy? If you are capable of doing (100 × 50 + (6 + 6) × 75) ÷ 25 = 236, then why didn't you see (7 + 4) x 75 + (5 x 4) = 845? Not meant to be a criticism as I know how tough it is and ...
