Often the only way I can remember new words is in context, and that context is almost always the meaning. Mechanical word-learning bores the tits off me frankly, hence I have to rely on natural talent to get me as far as it has. That also explains why my performance is so erratic, I don't follow log...

I think you should add a few hundred onto everyone's rating, then multiply it by 10. That way normal people would have a rating of somewhere around a hundred instead of -100. It might be a small incentive to people who like the game but not enough to start learning the two letter extensions for LOA...

The thing is, forums like this actually contain specific filters that can be tweaked to change swear words into non-swearing, e.g. fuck->flip or bollocks->balls, that sort of thing.
