Re: What TV programmes have you been watching lately?
A Very English Scandal. Just outstanding in every way - writing, acting, direction, all superb. And for those of us old enough to remember the Thorpe trial and the sensation it caused, the blackly farcical tone is spot-on. It was good , though maybe they could have condensed it into a 2 hour film. ...

Going back to sandwiches.
I don't like butter on a bacon or sausage sandwich.
There is enough fat from the bacon/ sausage.
Also cannot understand people who eat soup with buttered bread or rolls.
Although I readily admit to dunking my bread in.

Two Reynolds suggestions we picked up from here. Young Offenders was ok, kind of vaguely fun and with some level of a kind of nostalgic cuteness to it, but hasn't impressed that much. Didn't really seem like a Reynolds pick even (which made me wonder if I was missing something). But then Detectoris...

All depends what the producer and that decide to do. If that is true it's a disappointing state of play. I would argue that the programme and its legacy trumps the whims of any current production set-up, or at least it should. It makes little sense to put blame on Apterous for the trend of C4 hosti...
