Would recommend. Went to a talk by her at Huddersfield uni in May which wasn't this tour, she was a guest speaker of some language society, but it was a similar two hour thing. Genuinely was really interesting all the way through (was a lot better than a very long origins of words would be I imagine...

Ah! I didn't search the word "distribution". Nice one. This is perfect. I think it's probably easier to just model the home game stacks and go from there. The thread that you showed me so far has the vowels from the newer home game. I'll keep digging for the consonants unless someone else...

yeah but that's annoying to calculate, wins then points is much easier for your average viewer to understand and imo there's not really any point caring about scoring due to different selections at this sort of stage (random fluctuations when someone gets a bunch of easy nines etc) cause the opponen...

I propose picking a constant x (we're essentially doing it with 1 here), 1.05 seems like a decent value from playing around a little bit feel free to change, and then a fixed age N (say 90) and then multiplying whatever points you would get by x^(N-[age of death]). Was veggie for 5 years (2008-2013). Literally couldn't tell the difference between real meat and Quorn (or the off brand version thereof) except in the case of sausages.

A lot of people cite bacon as the main reason for eating meat. It's alright but so so overrated imo
