I can't really see Craig's max percentage score ever being beaten but I think Kirk will get a higher overall score. I prefer Kirk because of his dedication to Countdown knowing he may never make the big time again and because he seems a little more human. A little.

It's not the fact that I find him offensive, I just find the dialogue really repetitive and sometimes he doesn't list the DC beaters. He is just really shit IMO.

I think it would be a psycological advantage to come up with an obscure or crazy word. It would show to your opponent you have a superior word knowledge (you're a lexonerd) and even though you got the same amount of points it would seem like an advantage. Is it really that hard? You just do crap for a couple of games but after that you quickly get the hang of it. You'd probably pick it up quicker if you played a few games rather than read instructions on how to play. I don't see how it is intimidating at all but, meh, others might disagree.

Speaking of word learning, on Craig's website he says he got through "well over 20,000 words". :o What percentage of the dictionary is that? I mean that is crazy, then again he is the greatest player ever, in terms of ability. That figure's just staggering though.

"Naturally brilliant" doesn't really mean anything I meant that he might have a good ability to remember words with relatively little practise. Some people are naturally better at the game than others, it would take some people hundreds of games to reach the standard some people can reach...
