The 'conundrum spots' is new to this series as far as I know. Or Mike Brown's just been wrong for a long time, which is really really unlikely. When I was involved in series 58 the leaderboard listed the seeds by wins, points and number of conundrums spotted so I assume the rule's applied at least ...

I noticed on one round Shane declared what I thought sounded like SEAMAN when there was only one A. It may have been SEAMEN but it didn't sound like it so I was surprised he wasn't asked to spell it.

This was the first of Cate's games that I saw live in the studio, and when I saw her 2nd game the other day it reminded me of this one in that she stepped up a gear in part 3. Gerald was a nice guy, he sat just in front of me in the audience for the next show and we were comparing words and solutions.
