I like a cup of tea and a cup of coffee at times but neither of them go with a full English cooked breakfast (which I also like). A drink of diluted juice is far more appropriate.

Thankfully the challenger didn't win, I couldn't have coped with another day of 5 vowels straight off on each of his selections! What I like about Countdown is that I can put it on every weekday and see a unique show without fail. Put on Pointless or The Chase and there's always a chance it could be a repeat.

Surely with words such as DOUGLAS, GIAOURS (and other derogatory terms), it is best to let the players declare them, actually televise them and let Susie explain why they are derogatory. This would serve an educational purpose and, in my view, would be better than just editing the words out.

I don't think people should be expected to vote for anyone and should vote for the party that matches their views the closest. I guess the only reason why you wouldn't do this is if you had a local candidate whose views didn't match yours but did a lot in your local area.

I think she has done okay so far and is already better than Des O'Connor or Des Lynam. She was very nervous on the first show but interviews the guest very well. I agree with Tom about the MENSA thing.

I quite enjoyed this episode of Celebrity Countdown. The scoring system is okay but gives an unfair advantage to the contestant solving the conundrum. I think that the conundrum should only be worth five points if this scoring system is used.
