Re: Countdown in the pub

So, yeah, they come up with silly ideas at The Friary and it causes great amusement over a beer. Then they do them and it causes great amusement over a few beers! Anyone in Cork Saturday week? Sadly i'm away. And they've asked me to be a penguin and all. Shucks. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DL7zozRWs...

Re: Countdown in the pub

Update on this - they are planning a 'Cross dressing countdown' event, mainly because one of the bar staff likes dressing up and they're all a bit mad. He's gonna host it, and there will be a penguin in dictionary corner apparently, mainly because they have a big penguin costume somewhere. I gather ...

Countdown in the pub

Hello. Long time, i hope you're all great. Brief anecdote i feel like sharing. I moved house a year ago to the other side of town. Cork is a tiny city. I can walk from my house to my old local in 25 minutes, but that's a little too much of a stagger home, so i found a new one down the road. It's cal...

Did it yeah? Nice one. Loads of work gone into it, the deep red lads were great. Loads of small things i wish we'd gotten in to make it funnier, but limited time to do it in and a lot of fun was had.
