You could have also used the (25 x 50 x 75)/100 = 937.5 method. In this case, ((75 x 25 + 1) x 50) / 100

I still can't get in though. It just gradually cycles through Login Attempt X of 60 without doing anything, and I've tried using both Java v.6 Update 7 and Update 11. What's most frustrating is that I paid the £15 a few days ago and haven't yet got anything out of it.

Countdown is essentially now just Sky Sports Soccer Saturday. Which is good. You just swap the football matches for rounds of letters and numbers, replace Georgia Thompson or whatever shes called with an equally attractive blonde and swap Richard Digance for Matt Le Tissier (if only). That conundrum was poorly mixed up. Made me think of that psychological thing whereby you can read jumbled words as long as their first and last letters are in place.

Yeah, I saw DERAILING a few seconds after I declared danglier. Went blank on two numbers games and made some silly mistakes/misses. But I didn't set out to be a multichamp - I was happy to just to win one. And I was glad I lost to someone as pleasant as Andrew.

Dress Code...

It seems like Countdown have a relatively strict dress code for contestants, and I was wondering if it's acceptable to wear a football shirt on the programme. I'd expect not, seeing as the name of the shirt's manufacturer is fairly visible, even if the sponsor is only the local council.

I just watched that and unfortunately I could only get 951 within the 30 seconds...

50 x 25 = 1250
1250 + (6 x 3) = 1268
1268 x 75 = 95100
95100 / 100 = 951

Equally outrageous, but unfortunately not good enough! I'll keep practising those 4 large :)

Right, I've just come up with the following solution for a numbers game. ((75 x 25 - 1) x 50)) / 100 = 937 If I were on the programme, would this be allowed, or would I have to declare the answer to each part of the sum? I.e. 75 x 25 = 1875. 1875 - 1 = 1874... I mean, 30 seconds is certainly enough ...
