May give this a go - it's been a while and anything has to be an improvement on the last time I played Countdown in public - will know for sure nearer the time if I can make it.

Hi Jason, I may be wrong about this but If Damian is the person who is in charge of Countdown on a day to day basis, then Peter Gwyn is the person who is, in a way, Damian's boss. Peter employs Damian to produce Countdown and it's then Damian who hires the production team to work on the actual produ...

From what I can remember of the rules briefing we all got on our first day at the studio, I think what happens if the time should run out is that the round would be lost (as in not getting perfection) and I think it's automatically awarded to the "usual suspects" but I'm not 100% sure if t...

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but in my Daily Duel game today (Game 213349, 5:47 am), the game wasn't accepting any offerings I made in the letters rounds (RASIED, SOMBRE, MOUSE etc), the game declared them invalid and I scored no points for them.

Thank you Jason :) Basically being shortlisted means you have a very good chance of getting an appearance on the show but the producers have to be certain that in each show there is a wide mix of people to play the game e.g. they wouldn't want too many men or women in one show, too many younger peop...
